OSHA-Accredited Safety Program for Roadway Contractors
TrenchSafety is pleased to announce a new course: An OSHA-accredited
two-day, 10-hour training program exclusively for the roadway construction
industry. The American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA)
and the National Safety Council developed this program, which is designed to
fit the needs of the roadway construction industry.
Topics covered will include:
- Introduction to OSHA
- Roadway Work Zones
- Personal Protective Equipment & High-Visibility Apparel
- Collisions
- Night Work
- Mechanized Equipment
- Electrical Safety
- Excavations & Trenching
- Confined Spaces
- Fall Prevention & Protection
- Occupational Health & Environmental Controls
The two-day session run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Cost is
$195 per person, and includes lunch both days. Each student receives an
instructional manual that will serve as a valuable reference later, and a
card card from OSHA signifying completion of a 10-hour construction safety
course.
